THE COMPANY
SECURCOMP has been founded to meet the needs of many potential customers, like banks, industries, departement stores and so on, in the field of security, to be meant as protection against crimes, frauds, fire.
SECURCOMP offers the service of a team of specialized people, having a long experience, as executives and project managers in large manufacturing companies of security and communications systems.
SECURCOMP activity is principally developed in the following areas:
- risks analysis and evaluation;
- design and engineering of integrated security systems;
- technical assistance during installation works;
- special consultancy services and assistance on specific security problems, with development of the most appropriate methodologies and procedures.
Obviously, when some peculiar problems need different specialists, SECURCOMP can grant the assistance of a small but strong team of properly selected specialists, to be hired to analyze - and help to solve - customers problems.
These people are a very important component in the "professional assets" of SECURCOMP: they have different but specific experiences which integrate the capability of our company in giving a true "total service".
To insure independency, capability and impartiality of evaluation, SECURCOMP selects his partners only among people who, because of their professional activity, do not have any connection with manufacturing companies or security systems suppliers.
One of the Directors of SECURCOMP is recognized as Security Surveyor by many of the largest italian insurance companies, particularly for the risks regarding Banks, EDP Centres (including "computer crimes"), jewel manufacturers and jewellers.
ANIA (Italian Association of Insurance Companies) and many brokers have included SECURCOMP in their short list of approved security consultants for protection of Banks and Industries against informatic frauds and crimes in general.
SECURCOMP do not offer or supply security products, equipments or systems, but only consultancy services.
SECURCOMP SERVICES
The integrated engineering service is structured in various steps: each customers is free to ask for all or only some of them.
The most important are the following:
The phase starts with a meeting with the executives of the client company to ascertain and discuss their problems. With accurate surveys on site, we analyze the risks of fire, instrusion, sabotage, personnel safety, informatic network and we put in evidence various priorities.
This phase gives to the customers the list of actions needed, the possible related interferences with the standard operating procedures (personnel and materials flow, procedures), and a provisional figure to be budgeted.
- Project draft
Issue of the guidelines of the security project, including technical specifications of the security system, a draft of bid documents and detailed calculation of assumed costs.
It includes the following activities:
- pre-qualification of contractors;
- issue of bid documents;
- analysis of various bids, evaluation and recommendations to the customer;
- work in progress inspection and tests on components;
- instructions for shipments and control of delivery documents;
- Final project design;
- Technical Assistance to works supervisor, during commissioning phase
- Costs control
- Test for acceptance of installation
- Surveillance of initial systems activity
- Final tests of systems functionality
- Verfication or issue of standard operating procedures
SECURCOMP does organize seminars, open to a number of people or limited to the staff of customer company, dedicated to specific problems.
Suche seminars have been run for Banks - especially for the robbery risks - and for private organizations, to train security officers and guards.
MAJOR AREAS OF ACTIVITY
Typically, areas of activity are those in which the importance and complexity of security problems can justify the involvement of an engineering company: consequently the companies where risks are of high level, like banks, military sites, state or private large industries and entities.

- Evaluation of phisical and logic security of an EDP or communication network
- Drafting and editing of security manuals and procedures
